Brass

Brass is an oxidisable alloy formed from copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn), similar to oricalcium. A distinction must be made between ternary brass, made of copper and zinc, and quaternary brass, in which there is a fourth chemical element characterizing the alloy or other binary brass in which there are other chemical elements.
