Product Description
A 600-year-old poplar burl coffee table from the Villa Borromeo Park in Cesano Maderno. Inspired by a fossil and lava after it cools, this coffee table is reminiscent of a volcano with flaming lava pouring out. All worked by hand, it has gold-colored flames on the head. The trunk was treated taking inspiration from the Japanese shou-sugi-ban technique, which burns wood to preserve it and make it water-repellent and aesthetically elegant.

Poplar burl
