Cratere

Table of 600 years old Poplar burl wood, coming from the park of Villa Borromeo in Cesano Maderno. Inspired by a fossil and by the solid lava, this table reminds a volcano and its leaching flaming lava. Everything is hand made, on the head part of the trunk there are gold flashes.The trunk has been processed by the inspiration of the Japanese shou-sugi-ban art, that burns the wood to preserve it and it makes it water-repellent and aesthetically elegant.
